Our team had an amazing experience at the American Institute of Architects (AIA) New Orleans Design Awards at Generations Hall! We were honored to take home the Unbuilt Architecture category award for The Boscoyo House, and a special congratulations to designer Hannah Hubbell for receiving the 2024 Emerging Professional Award.
Designers Hannah Hubbell (far left), Maria Ory (second left), and Sarah Segar (second right) accepted the category award for Unbuilt Architecture for the 3D-printed housing concept, The Boscoyo House. The Boscoyo House is an affordable housing model designed as a fusion of the traditional shotgun and mid-century modern home, featuring enhanced stormwater management and resilience features.
Later in the evening, Designer Hannah Hubbell was awarded the industry Emerging Professional Award. Hannah currently serves as Treasurer on the AIA's Board of Directors and Co-Chair of the Women in Architecture committee, and was one of the lead designers of the Boscoyo House.
Managing Partner Terri Dreyer (far left) was co-chair of the event, with Office Manager Chance Brignac (third left), Design Studio Manager Sami Johnson, and Marketing Coordinator Phoebe Dunn (far right) on the Design Awards Committee. Congratulations to the team on a successful and fun evening!
