State Farm Office
Old Metairie, Louisiana
Hired by State Farm Insurance Agent Nora Vaden Holmes, NANO transformed the commercial corporate office with under-utilized interior space into a clean, bright, and ethereal environment that efficiently supports the staff and customers alike.
The design objective for the 10,000 SF building on Metairie Road was to transform the interior into a more cohesive, collaborative, and non-segmented space to ensure a positive customer experience and further foster a collaborative team-building environment for the staff.

A soft, welcoming, and neutral color palette carries throughout the interior space to provide clients with a sense of comfort when making crucial insurance decisions. On the first floor, various open offices with floor-to-ceiling glazing line the perimeter, capitalizing on natural light and successfully providing an unobstructed visual sight-line for the employees to support successful communication. On the second floor, we designed additional flexible office space, along with an expansive state-of-the-art boardroom, office kitchen, and break out area.
NANO designed a welcoming interior that achieved both the practical, aesthetic, and functional goals set forth by the client. The design of the space not only supports the corporate culture of collaboration and team-work, but it is adaptable enough to accommodate the overall needs of the business and projected growth of both clientele and staff.
