The 26,000 SF renovation comprised of the grand sanctuary space, dormitories, administrative offices, and early childhood development center. NANO was responsible for the design of all new millwork, selection of finishes and furniture, and a comprehensive upgrade to the outdated 2009 building code. The code compliance renovation included updating all egress, sprinkler systems, fire doors and alarms, walls, and engineering systems.

A two-fold civic project, First Grace Methodist Church consisted of both interior renovations and comprehensive code review and upgrades.
Located within the Mid-City Historic District on the corner of Norman C Francis Parkway and Canal Street, First Grace Methodist Church was severely damaged during Hurricane Katrina sustaining over 5 feet of water.
